Built in Chattanooga, for Chattanooga homeowners
JGL Contracting is a locally owned home renovation company based in Chattanooga's Hixson area. We started because there's a real gap in this town between handyman work and the big commercial outfits — homeowners deserve a crew that picks up the phone, shows up when they say they will, and finishes what they started.
We focus on six trades: painting, drywall, kitchen and bath remodels, roofing, siding, and flooring. That's intentional — these are the projects that most often run together. When you remodel a bathroom, you usually also need drywall, paint, and new tile. We'd rather do all of it well than bounce you between five companies.
How we work
- Call or send a message. Tell us roughly what you're thinking. We'll book a walk-through.
- Free, on-site estimate. Usually within 48 hours of the first call. We measure, look at conditions, and ask the questions that matter for an accurate number.
- Written estimate within 2–3 business days. Materials, labor, timeline. No surprise add-ons mid-project unless something hidden comes up — and if it does, we'll show you and price it before we touch it.
- Scheduling and start. We block the days you need on the calendar and confirm 48 hours before crew arrival.
- Daily clean-up. You shouldn't dread coming home to your own house during a remodel.
Service area
We work most days across:
- Chattanooga — downtown, North Shore, Brainerd, East Brainerd
- Hixson — our home base
- Red Bank

- Soddy-Daisy & Sale Creek
If you're nearby and don't see your town, give us a call — we'll be honest about whether we can get there.

Our promise
If we say we'll be there, we're there. If we miss a detail, we make it right. If you're not happy with a finish, we don't leave until we get it the way it should be. That's the whole pitch — it's not complicated.
