Flooring is one of those projects where the install matters as much as the material. A great LVP installed badly looks worse than a budget LVP installed right — we focus on the install.
What we install
- LVP (luxury vinyl plank) — waterproof, durable, dog-and-kid friendly. Our most-installed product in Chattanooga homes.
- Engineered hardwood — real wood top layer over plywood core; stable in basements and over slab.
- Solid hardwood — for main floors above grade; oak, hickory, maple.
- Hardwood refinishing — sand, stain, polyurethane existing floors instead of replacing.
- Ceramic & porcelain tile — bathrooms, kitchens, mudrooms, fireplace surrounds.
- Subfloor repair — squeaks, sag, rot — fixed before new flooring goes down.
- Tile baseboards, transitions, and quarter-round — included, not an upcharge.
Our process
- Walk-through and measurement. We measure rooms, check subfloor condition, identify level issues, plan transitions (where one flooring meets another).
- Material selection. Bring samples to your house if you want — fluorescent showroom lighting lies about color.
- Written estimate. Material, labor, subfloor prep, baseboard/quarter-round, transitions, removal and disposal of old flooring — itemized.
- Furniture moved (mostly). We can handle furniture move and reset; appliances and pianos we'll coordinate but may need help.
- Tear-out and prep. Old flooring removed, subfloor cleaned, leveled with self-leveler where needed.
- Install. Underlayment for floating floors, thinset for tile, glue or nail-down for hardwood. Pattern planned so cuts don't end up tiny at walls.
- Trim and finish. Baseboards reset (or new ones installed), quarter-round added where appropriate, transitions installed between rooms.
Materials & brands
For LVP we work most often with Coretec, Mohawk RevWood, Shaw Floorté, and store-brand options from Floor & Decor and Lumber Liquidators. For hardwood, we install most major brands or source from a local hardwood specialist. Tile from Floor & Decor or specialty showrooms. If you've already bought flooring, we'll install it.
Timeline
A typical LVP install across a main living area (about 1,200 sq ft) is 2–4 days. Tile bathrooms run 3–5 days because of thinset cure time. Hardwood refinishing on existing floors is usually 4–6 days (cure time is the slow part). Subfloor problems can add a day.

We install flooring all across the Chattanooga area — downtown condos with concrete subfloors, Hixson ranchers with crawl spaces, Signal Mountain homes with mixed subfloor conditions on hillsides. Older homes in Red Bank often have original hardwood worth refinishing rather than covering over — we'll look at it and tell you what's there.
Flooring is usually part of a bigger picture — many of our installs happen during kitchen and bath remodels or alongside fresh paint and drywall repair. One crew, less scheduling chaos.
