A bad paint job shows up the day after the crew leaves. A good one still looks right ten years later. The difference is prep work — and that's where we don't cut corners.
What we paint
- Interior repaints — whole-house, single rooms, ceilings, trim, doors, accent walls
- Exterior house painting — wood siding, fiber-cement, stucco, brick, masonry
- Kitchen cabinet refinishing — strip, prime, spray finish for a factory-grade look
- Decks & fences — power-wash, sand, stain or paint
- Trim and millwork — baseboards, crown molding, window casings
- Garage floors — epoxy coatings (durable for Chattanooga humidity)
Our process
- On-site walk-through. We come out, measure rooms or square footage of siding, talk about colors and sheens, and look for prep work you might not see — like patching cracked drywall or scraping loose paint off eaves.
- Written estimate. Labor, materials, prep time, and timeline — itemized. If the job needs drywall repair, painters' caulk on hundreds of feet of trim, or pressure-washing first, it's spelled out, not buried.
- Prep day(s). Furniture moved or covered. Floors masked. Trim taped. Holes filled. Loose paint scraped. This is 60% of the job.
- Paint. Primer where needed, two finish coats as standard. Spray, roll, or brush depending on what makes the surface look right.
- Walk-through with you. We don't pack up until you've looked at every wall under good light.
Paint & materials
We default to Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore — they cover better, the finishes hold up to washing, and the color matching is reliable if you ever need a touch-up. For exteriors in the Tennessee Valley we usually recommend Sherwin-Williams Duration or SuperPaint, which handle UV, humidity, and freeze-thaw better than budget brands. If you want to bring a specific color or brand, just say so when we walk through.
Timeline & pricing
Most interior single-room repaints are a 1–2 day job. A whole-house interior (1,800–2,400 sq ft) is usually 5–8 working days depending on prep. Exterior house painting runs 4–10 days based on stories, siding type, and weather. We give a per-project price, not a square-foot blind quote — every house is different.
Painting projects across the Chattanooga area
We're set up to paint anywhere in our regular service area. The most common neighborhoods we work in are around Hixson, Red Bank, and Chattanooga's North Shore, but we'll drive to Signal Mountain and Soddy-Daisy without an issue.
Many of our painting jobs are part of a larger renovation — we'll often roll drywall repair into the same visit, or pair a paint job with a kitchen remodel. One crew, one schedule.
