Drywall is one of those trades where the difference between mediocre and great is whether the wall looks flat under a low-angle light. We chase that flatness.
What we do
- Patch & repair — holes from doorknobs, accidents, settling cracks, or removed shelving
- Water damage rebuild — cut out damaged sheets, replace, retape, retexture, repaint
- Full drywall hangs — new additions, basement finishes, garage conversions
- Popcorn ceiling removal — scraped, skim-coated smooth, ready to paint
- Texture matching — orange peel, knockdown, smooth — we'll match what's there
- Level-5 finishes — for rooms with strong raking light or where any imperfection will show
How we work
- On-site assessment. We check what's behind the damage (water source still active? framing rotted?), confirm the texture, and measure the affected area.
- Dust containment. Plastic at doorways, floors covered, HVAC returns sealed off if we're sanding. Your house doesn't have to look like a job site at the end of every day.
- Cut, hang, tape, mud. Three coats of mud as standard, sanded smooth, primed for paint.
- Texture match. Practiced on scrap board before it touches your wall.
- Paint coordination. If you want us to repaint after, that's usually the same crew on the next visit — no separate trip.
Materials
Standard 1/2" or 5/8" drywall (5/8" for ceilings and fire-rated walls), mold-resistant board for bathrooms and basements, USG joint compound, fiberglass mesh tape for cracks prone to movement and paper tape for clean inside corners. Nothing exotic — just the right material in the right place.
Timeline
Most patch jobs are completed in a single visit. A whole room re-rock and finish is typically 3–5 days with drying time built in. A popcorn ceiling removal on a 12×14 room is usually 2–3 days start to finish, including skim coating. Full basement drywall hangs depend on square footage but we'll give you a calendar in the estimate.
